20 hours/week - 2:00pm to 6:00pm
The Team Leader is responsible for assisting a group of up to 20 students with snack, homework and enrichment. This position reports to the Site Coordinator.

Description of Duties

• Assist with homework completion of a group of up to 20 students


• Assist students with reading, writing, and mathematics


• Assist Site Coordinator and Enrichment Teacher when necessary


• Ability to maintain appropriate balance of fun and discipline


• Ensure effective communication with parents and students


• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, recreation or related field (desirable) OR currently enrolled in college


• Ability to assist K-8 students complete homework correctly


• Experience with elementary age students


• Exceptional organizational skills


• Familarity with basic computer software

Further Requirements

• Available to work 2:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday


• Ability to obtain LiveScan fingerprint clearance


• Reliable transportation


• Ability to frequently access a computer


• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification


• Willingness to travel to off-site meetings and trainings
