Chasityflame Price, Program Director, discovered at the tender age of 8 that she wanted to be an educator. The close bonds developed with her elementary school teachers awakened a passion to work with youth and participate in the molding of great minds.
Growing up in a tough section of South Central Los Angeles, her determination for success and desire to give back to her community was easily ignited. After excelling academically at Palisades Charter High School in Pacific Palisades, she enrolled at California State University, Northridge.
During college, Chasityflame continued to pursue her dream of becoming an educator. Participating in a combination program, she rigorously worked to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and an Education Specialist Special Education Credential.
In 2008, Chasityflame entered the arena of after-school education as leap's Site Coordinator at Beluah Payne Elementary School. Through hard work and dedication, she was promoted to Program Director. As Program Director, she utilizes her leadership skills, passion to work with youth, and desire to give back to the community to achieve leap's vision.
