Andrew Garrison, Director of Development, has been with leap since 2007. Prior to joining the team, Andrew gained valuable experience as a sports coach for another local after-school program and then as the Recreation Coordinator for Ocean Charter School in Culver City, CA.

When leap began providing the after-school enrichment at Ocean Charter School in 2007, Andrew made the natural transition into a leap Team Leader. Shortly thereafter, his infectious enthusiasm and passion for the students gave him the opportunity to become the Site Coordinator. The following summer, with leap growing rapidly, Andrew was promoted to the position of Program Director.

Prior to the start of the 2008-2009 school year, the Director of Development position was created with Andrew in mind. As Director of Development, he oversees program compliance, expansion of services, grant management and technology systems.

A proud alumnus of California State University, Northridge, Andrew has a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Business Management. During his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and watching movies.
